NOTICE: The Kerberos v4 support code has been separated out of the mainline Amanda package, into an amanda-krb4 package. Even though the kerberos support code in Amanda is not encryption software itself (it needs kerberos and the des library), it does provide the high-level support for encryption of data for transmission over the network, making its status somewhat murky. Therefore, regarding the amanda-krb4 package: Export of this software from the United States of America is assumed to require a specific license from the United States Government. It is the responsibility of any person or organization contemplating export to obtain such a license before exporting. I've done my best to make sure you see this notice before getting access to the package, now it is YOUR responsibility to comply with the export regulations. The amanda-krb4 package is hidden under this directory in the following location: hidden/isnt_this_silly/amanda-krb4-2.4.0.tar.gz You must cd directly into hidden/isnt_this_silly in one step - the hidden directory is not readable. Sorry for the stupid hassle. Jaime
