The First Global Forum on Human Development is the first in a series of annual events intended to stimulate discussion and debate on the most recent innovations in human development concepts, measurements and policies.  It will provide an opportunity for dialogue between the research community and policy makers and development practitioners.
The Forum's four major themes are:
  • Globalization with a Human Face
  • Measurement of Human Development
  • National Human Development Reports
  • New Directions for Research
