Welcome to the hypermail distribution site.

There are three different types of versions available here, historical,
stable and development.

Historical:
-----------
    The directory historical has previous versions released as either beta
    or stable. 

Development:
------------
    The 'development/' subdirectory has a copy of the current development
    copy. This is not always the most stable but it will have the most
    current work done on it.  This directory may be empty if a stable 
    version has just been released.

Stable:
-------
   The dist directory contains the stable distribution of hypermail.

   The current stable version is Hypermail 2.1.8. 

   hypermail-2.1.8.tar.gz   - (Current version)

The file 'hypermail.tar.gz' is always a link to most current stable version.

Development List Mail Archives:
------------------------------
The mail-archive/ directory is an archive of the hypermail development
list (hypermail@hypermail.org).

CVS Archive Access:
-------------------
If you are interested in getting the latest and greatest version from
CVS, take a look at README.CVS or http:/www.hypermail.org/cvs.html 
for directions.
